| The Limina Collective is proud to announce the 4th Annual Limina Conference Friday 5th June, 2009 from 8.30am - 5pm Institute for Advanced Studies, University of Western Australia 13 papers will be presented by scholars from Cardiff University, Wales, the University of Queensland and from local universities. This year the Collective is delighted to announce that UWA Graduate Dr Michael Ondaatje, from the University of Newcastle, will be presenting a Keynote address entitled "A Long Time Coming: The Obama Phenomenon in American History and Politics". Registration for the Conference is $15, and includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Registrations will close on May 30, however some places may still be available and those wishing to attend should be able to register on the day. Attendees are asked to arrive at 8:30 to allow time for registration before the 9am start of the Conference. Following the Conference at 6pm attendees are invited to partake in free drinks at the Launch of Volume 15 of Limina: a Journal of Historical and Cultural Studies, on the veranda at the Institute for Advanced Studies. We hope to see as many of you as possible on the 5th of June. |
